Organic Rosa damascena Rosebuds – Noble Blossoms with History and Character
Cherished for millennia—from ancient Persia to Traditional Chinese Medicine—the Damask rose (Rosa damascena) is known as the queen of roses. Its delicate pink to deep pink buds release an unmistakably enchanting fragrance and are rich in valuable natural compounds.
Our organic rosebuds are sourced from certified organic cultivation in climatically ideal regions. Each of them is handpicked, gently dried, and processed with the utmost care.
Origin & Processing
The harvest begins in spring, aligned with the Persian New Year. Before the sun rises, the fragile rosebuds are carefully handpicked to preserve their full aroma. Drying is done traditionally in shaded clay buildings—completely without industrial heat processes. Around 12 kg of fresh rosebuds are required to produce 1 kg of dried rosebuds.
Thanks to consistent quality control based on HACCP principles, we ensure a pure and unadulterated natural product—from branch to final packaging.
